  Workers on pipe racks now have the Safety Cloud® belt equipped technology that senses when an unrecoverable fall has begun and uses the speed of air bag inflation to inflate an inner tube style cushion to prevent the worker from falling between the pipes. This actually prevents the fall from completing, supporting the worker from the waist. 

A scaffold tube railing system surrounding a pipe rack work area, provides workers with an entire work area where the Safety Cloud® provides untethered protection for the first time. In the event of a fall the inner tube like protection inflates to prevent the worker's upper body from ever passing through the pipes. The industry standard harness and lanyard frequently results in serious injury and broken bones while arresting a fall. When a worker falls from elevation wearing a harness and lanyard they can fall  up to 6 - 8 feet before the fall is arrested. The worker often  falls onto or through obstructions or they slam into structures or walls as the fall is arrested.

The Protection Cloud® saves lives and minimizes injuries from falls for our aging seniors . Our seniors curtail their activities to limit their exposure to the dangers associated with falls. The Protection Cloud® is a fall protection belt that protects the most vulnerable of our loved ones, our seniors and any others particularly vulnerable to injuries from falls, the debilitating injuries that so often result from a fall to the ground or floor. The Protection Cloud® prevents the all too frequent downward spiral of loss of independence and emotional distress that accompany the long and painful recovery from broken hips, broken wrists, broken arms or broken teeth and head injuries that so often result from falls.
The Protection Cloud®  is designed to protect any person that is prone to slips, stumbles or falls; or those for whom such a spill is likely to cause serious injury, like head injuries, broken bones, cuts, bruises or contusions. The Protection Cloud® is a comfortable and attractive belt about 8 inches wide in the back and 6 inches wide in the front, contoured to be comfortable, which is worn over the clothes and is easy to put on and secure with an adjustable Velcro closure in the front. Our magnetic LUCKY STAR™ electrical connection on the front of the belt, activates the detection system. It is also easily taken off and can be used on an as needed basis, although you may find that wearing makes you feel better at the end of the day. The Protection Cloud® is fitted with flexible staves to support the lumbar spine improving posture for those who are seated for extended periods of time and reducing back fatigue for the wearer. The Protection Cloud® is light and elastic,  making it comfortable to wear even when moving and bending over. It has a streamlined design with changeable outer covers that come in different colors and patterns to compliment your apparel. There is also a model that can be worn in the shower.
The Protection Cloud® circuitry uses proven technology to detect that the wearer is falling and it uses air bag technology to instantly inflate tough, puncture resistant, synthetic bladders which extend up and out to avoid interference with the arms, as well as down from the belt in connected vertical chambers to protect the wearer in an air cushion which surrounds you before reaching the ground or floor. The Protection Cloud® is designed to ergonomically inflate from the back towards the front, ergonomically expanding to move your arms across your chest, providing an air bag cushion from the head to below the knees before you reach the floor.
The Protection Cloud® will minimize the injuries from a fall, preventing broken hips/shoulders/wrists/teeth, head injuries, contusions and bruises that all too often result from falls.
